Gubuk Genteng River Dredging to Complete October

The Gubuk Genteng River, Semper Barat Urban Village, Cilincing is being dredged along 1.6 km. The dredging will also deepen the river up to three meters.
Progo and Gubuk Genteng Rivers should be in one flow
North Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Water Management, Herning Wahyuningsih, said this dredging project is continuation from Progo River.
According to her, Progo and Gubuk Genteng were not connected because of sediment. Before being dredged, the river was closed with mud totally.
Dredging Work in Cipinang River Stopped Temporarily“Progo and Gubuk Genteng Rivers should be in one flow,” she said, Wednesday (9/21).
She added that the dredging has been started since July 2016 ago. The remaining project is 200 meters.
After the dredging, her side will improve the plaster at Gubuk Genteng River which is the part of routine maintenance for connecting channel and river in North Jakarta.
